Intentions

I was intending on discussing a few of my other goals but over the last few days I've had some... well I've just been a bit more muse ridden then I know what to do with.

I've finished the first chapter of my super hero story for Runcible. And that seems to be a point to which I can trace some of this to.

You see the idea first came about when I was discussing the Girl Genius web comic that contains a recent incident with a hand cranked runcible gun. Well the discussion is too much to go into here, but suffice to say between debates about it's inventors meaning and the relationship to the spork somebody said it'd be great if there were a super hero named Runcible in an online superhero web fiction series.

This is often times where my muses get the giggle fits that cause so much trouble. Because instantly my mind likes funny or unusual ideas, and say 'Oh wait I know how I can make that work.'

So I asked if they really would like me to do that and then started to come up with ideas, only it didn't stop with the story. Looking into the word runcible turned into a game of link chase... eventually I came up with the fact that the word is used before many words as a sort of nonsense add on. There are runcible cats and runcible spoons and runcible hats and runcible this's and runcible that's. And so based on the idea that it is nonsense, or a corruption of rouncival or that it's a style of pickle fork ect. I started wonding if I could make some of these nonsense things real.

My notebook has an entire page of runcible ideas now, including jewelry and goggles. But it didn't stop there. See I found a way to hint at all the possable meanings of runcible in the character of Runcible, but also in the course of the story something happened. Well someone was invented that has increadible potential.

And so a new web comic idea was invented. I will have to do some research involving gummi bears and water balloons (you know the usual stuff). But this web comic idea revived an older web comic idea, while encouraging me to plan out my two existing web comic ideas.

Sigh, then I was talking with some people about my ideas and it came up that I tend to prefer to do my arts as hand made works and then copy them into computers, I was in the middle of saying that some day I might come up with an idea for a completely computer created web comic when an idea came to me for one.

In the mean time I'd been following a lead with a contact and making my first Query letter for my goals when I noticed a call for a comic, I didn't think much of it at first because it's for something that my ideas thus far are not really meant for. And so was born a new comic idea, that involves hand crafts and cameras... but not in the same style as one of my other photo minature comic ideas.

And that's all just in the last few days, some times I wonder that my head hasn't just sort of popped.

Ah well, I'll just have to see what I can make of some of this.
