I've got to say that there is little in this world as pleasant as silly ideas wondering in and visiting the brain.
I practically couldn't breath for the chuckles I got for an idea for a part of the web comic I will be working on soon. I had just pulled into the parking lot and the child like fun and silliness tumbled together to create this simple three panel strip.
I've sort of had comic ideas on the brain lately with three of them fighting for brain time. Goober is the cutsey childlike one, then there is a bit of a steampunk comedy adventure calling itself Minions dilemma (it started as a simple working title but it's actually growing to suit it well), and then there is the nameless project which is as much an experimentation in art style as a story and comic. That one seems more serious though some recent ideas have allowed for some comic relief and lightening of the story.
So far I've only managed to do concept sketches for Goober and the nameless one thus far. The Minions Dilemma actually isn't drawn and requires some making of things before I start and then it's pretty much just start doing it. Because it has to do with photos and physical objects I need to get some test shots with a camera and start making the props and supplies for the story (where am I gonna keep all of this stuff?) before I can even begin.
Sigh, the extra day at work does change the schedual a bit, but hopefully it's just a matter of getting used to it and adapting some things.
There is supposedly a big storm coming tomorrow so I don't know if I'll be able to get to a computer, let alone work, but I will try. I'm going to run errands tonight just to be safe though.
If I don't write again tomorrow that at least I hope to be able to post by thursday night after work. Until then...
Take care of yourselves.
