I gave the landlady one months notice with the rent this morning.
I'm happy I getting out and I even more enjoyed the fact that she seemed caught off guard enough to only ask "You'll be out by the end of the month?"
Of course an hour later she banged some doors and stabbed a folded note through theedge of my door with a bunch of weak complaints, obviously a preemtive attempt to justify not returning my deposit (keep it, you obviously need it more then I do, and I know you couldn't lay your hands on that kind of money if you really had too), and the staement that she expects it to be presentable for showing to people this weekend.
As I've been clearing out for about ten days now anyway that's not so much an issue, but this is my first real chance to sleep late and relax after a long month of having to be at a computer almost every day. I'm likely to just be hanging out.
So I'm going to be super freindly and stuff. :)
Though I don't expect it to be much issue, as I've heard and seen much of the web site advertising for space to rent to people stays up a long time and few people actually come to check it out.
I've got to go and get some writing done tonight.
Take care of yourselves.
